Michael DiAntonio (writer, actor, director)

Originally trained as a physician, Michael DiAntonio has been involved in the New York theater scene for twenty years. He has performed in over twenty-five productions. He played the lead in Ben Unger's "L and M," and he was consultant for "ER." He has perfomed with Natalie Portman. He studied acting with Uta Hagen. He has perfomed in plays by Shakespeare, Shaw, Ionesco and others. Several of his plays have been produced in New York City. "Faust Invitro," "Bloodletting," and "The Next Step," were produced at LaMama theater in NYC. "No Civility," "Tex", and "The Veil of Fortune," have been presented in NYC and Paris. "Epideo," the play, had French and English productions at Cine13 in Paris in 2005. "Sex, food, shelter" was presented at Moving Parts, Paris, in 2007. "No Good Deed goes Unpunished," was presented by Moving Parts in Paris in January 2008. "EPIDEO" the film was shot in Paris and is Michael DiAntonio's first movie. It was distinguished with an accolade award for independent feature in 2007. The documentary, "Epideo, the death of Darwin," was completed in 2008. "The Veil of Fortune," written by Michael DiAntonio, was the first film produced by Tomay Productions. "Sex, food, shelter," "Black and White," and "Larrey" are in preproduction.
